Kumra Orthodontics: The 3-Step Teeth Whitening System

Kumra Orthodontics offers a simple process to whiten your smile. At-home bleaching is one of the safest ways to achieve a whiter smile and is completed from the comfort of your home.

Follow these three steps once per day, ideally after dinner for best results and no more than 4 to 5 applications to help prevent sensitivity.

Step 1: PREP

Brush your teeth thoroughly, ensuring there is no debris in your mouth.

STEP 2. LOAD

Load the tray with our bleaching gel. Apply one small drop per tooth to the portion of the tray that will make contact with the targeted teeth.

STEP 3. PLACE

Place tray firmly into position over teeth. Wipe away any excess gel. Wear for one hour, removing immediately if teeth become sensitive.

How At-Home Whitening Works

Carbamide Peroxide – the gel that comes with our teeth whitening trays – is known for its bleaching qualities. While the overall effect and time it takes will vary from patient to patient, the result is the same: brighter, whiter teeth.

KEEP IN MIND (FOR USAGE):

  • Speed and impact of treatment will vary among patients, with several factors including density of enamel and amount of staining playing significant parts.  Feel free to consult with us for more information.
  • Avoid drinking coffee, tea, or red wine during the whitening process, as these can lead to darkening of teeth.
  • If you experience any discomfort during your treatment, please contact us as soon as possible. If the gel makes contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If it makes contact with your eye, flush with copious amounts of water, and seek medical attention if irritation or vision disruption occurs. If the bleaching gel is accidentally ingested, make sure to drink large amounts of water. Seek medical attention if substantial amounts are ingested, or if discomfort persists.
  • This is not for injection.
