Crowding of the teeth
Crowding of the teeth can be fixed with a combination of different appliances and braces or Invisalign. In extreme cases, we may need to extract some teeth to create space for a beautiful new smile.
Open bite – Front teeth don’t touch
Open bite is typically caused by habits such as thumb sucking and tongue thrusting. Appliances my be used to curb these habits, and braces or Invisalign can correct the positioning of the teeth.
Overbite – Upper front teeth in front of lower teeth
Overbite occurs when the front top teeth protrude outward and cover the bottom front teeth. Depending on the severity of the case, corrective jaw surgery or appliances may be needed to fix the problem, followed up with braces or Invisalign.
Underbite – Lower front teeth in front of upper teeth
Underbite can cause jaw discomfort and excessive wear on the front teeth. Appliances combined with braces or Invisalign can fix the problem.
Spacing of teeth
Many patients with large spaces or gaps in between their teeth are reluctant to smile due to embarrassment. After treatment with Invisalign or braces, they have a beautiful smile worth showing off to the world.
Overjet – Protruding front teeth
Overjet is the protrusion of the top teeth beyond the bottom, which creates the appearance of having “buck teeth.” The methods for treating this condition vary depending on the age of the patient.
